Last night temps went to mid to low 30's with frost on cars and ground this morning. Found a group of seven American White Pelicans huddled together on Credit Island.

I hope you enjoy your trip to portland. If you are going to be taking wildlife photos I would visit Oaks Bottom Wildlife Area which is in Portland and if you get the chance Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in Washington about 30 minutes north of Portland is supposed to be one of the best in the area but I haven't made it up there yet. There is also Tualatin River National wildlife refuge if you have the time.
